Swimming...

Daddy took Mia to swimming lessons today & didn't she love it, she misses him so much when he is at work, we both do!

Both we're exhausted afterwards though!!

Mia's Dedication

What a beautiful day, the sun was shining (maybe a little too much but i wasn't complaining) it was lovely & warm (maybe a little to warm, but i didn't mind) & most importantly people who care about our little princess came to share in a day of promises, promises made by Shortty & me to Mia & to God, promises made by people who are part of Mia's life to Mia.

So much fun, after the formalities, swimming, playing, laughing, great times.

Thank you to all who made the effort to be part of such an important day to Shortty, Mia & I, thanks to Uncle Ken for dedicating our little girl to Gods care, trusting He will surround her with His angels as she grows into a beautiful young girl, teenager & finally woman.

Rocking Out

Mia was having a grizzle day today, we were finding it very hard to settle her, until Daddy had a great idea... (well actually i think he just wanted to play Guitar Hero) So Mia and Shortty started rocking out together, she loved it, we couldn't get the smile of her face. Peace at last....

Cup Day

Mia's 1st Melbourne Cup Day, all dressed up in her beautiful dress. We spent the day at our good friends had a barbie & a few quiet drinks & watched the race. Unfortunately no one won big but we had a great time sharing with our friends.

Sweet Dreams

Mia feel asleep with me today & Shortty was taking photo's of the two of us. He managed to snap this beautiful shot, our baby sleeping peacefully, smiling as she dreamed, safe in her mummy's arms. This is one of my favourite photo's.

Summer Fun

While we were on holidays in Perth Mia had her first dip in a pool & LOVED it, she giggled & splashed, and smiled... until we had to get out, she wanted to stay in the pool all day, if only time allowed for this. But at least we had some great family time on our holiday.

Adventures

We are off to WA for Dan & Donna's wedding. Mia was an angel on the plane, as it was taking off she went a little stiff, looked at her daddy & me for reassurance & saw that we were smiling, then all was well, she settled, as was back at peace with the situation.
